At Shakudo we are changing how the industry approaches data and compute heavy technologies with a focus on data, machine learning and Web 3. We have strong momentum going into the second half of 2022 and are growing our team!

The ideal candidate would be someone who has technical background and has established themselves as a strong voice in the Web 3 community. As Head of Developer Relations - Web 3, you will work closely with the leadership team, and across all functions to build a large and engaged community of developers, data engineers and data scientists that help propel our mission forward.


  • Define the strategy and execute on building and maintaining a large and engaged community of web 3 builders
  • Contribute to managing our social media accounts facing the web3 world including Twitter and Discord
  • Create tutorials, walkthroughs, and open source examples of web 3 applications and on-chain data analysis built on the Shakudo platform
  • Advocate for the web3 developer community and our users with our product management team to ensure that the product roadmap includes features that are important to the web3 builder community
  • Organize events, webinars, invited speaker talks and fun activities for the developer community


  • Adept with smart contracts, RPC nodes, on-chain data, and staking validators across multiple chains
  • Has built dapps, protocols and on-chain data analysis applications
  • Experience with managing social media for web3 teams, both on Discord and Twitter
  • Experience with fast-growing developer relations, technical advocacy and/or community management functions
  • Some experience with hiring and managing a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to explain complex technological topics to audiences with varying degrees of familiarity with data engineering and machine learning
  • Experience speaking at developer community events and participating in online forums, meetups, and social media events
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
